The Ministry of Social Affairs announces the opening of the third call for proposals of the public health programme financed from Norway Grants: "Social marketing campaigns on healthy lifestyles and training on health in all policies in non-health sectors", the aim of which is to contribute to creating a healthier environment, mentally and physically, which supports healthy choices.
The call has two sub-components:
a) “Social marketing campaigns on healthy lifestyles” , under which implementing social marketing campaigns is supported, including giving information about unhealthy lifestyles as well as encouraging a long-term behaviour change to improve personal and social outcome by targeting messages to the society as a whole and to important target groups (special focus on youth), using variety of marketing strategies and multiple media channels to increase exposure.
b) “Training on health in all policies in non-health sectors”, under which conducting training sessions on creating healthy environment and considering health in all policies for decision-makers and developing guidelines for local governments on preventing substance abuse and promoting a healthy lifestyle with a focus on youth are supported.
Research and development institutions and non-governmental organisations are considered as eligible applicants of projects, involvement of project partners, consultants and other experts, either domestic or foreign, is allowed and encouraged.
The deadline for submission of applications is February 20th, 2014 at 12:00.
