Healthier people - richer community


Within the Public Health Initiatives Programme a seminar "Healthier people - richer community. What kind of health costs will pay off?" will be held on 30 April 2015 in Tallinn. The seminar is about health challenges, supporting social investments and early intervention from the research aspect as well as based on good examples from Norway, Sweden and Estonia. Invited to attend are heads of municipalities, development advisers and health professionals.    


Estonia takes over Norwegian methodology to save lives


Estonian and Norwegian Swimming Federations started their cooperation in 2014 to compare experiences with giving children basic swimming skills. The cooperation immediately took off and already in March 2015 resulted in the introduction of the Norwegian methods in Estonia.


Light sculpture «Children of Lumarca»



On December 4-7 an unusual Lumarca light sculpture will be presented in Estonia for the first time. The light show will run on the Vabaduse square between 16:00-23:00. The light sculpture is dedicated to the efforts in support to the Estonian children and youth under the EEA and Norway Grants. The authors of the light sculpture are light designers Eva Tallo, Priit Tiimus and Toivo Pärnpuu.
