Opening conference of the Domestic and Gender-Based Violence and Gender Equality programmes


The opening conference of programmes "Mainstreaming Gender Equality and Work-Life Balance" and "Domestic and gender-Based Violence" will be held April 4, 2013 in the Conference Center of the Radisson Blu Hotel Olümpia.

The main goals of the conference are introducing the two programmes that are financed under the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2009-2014: “Mainstreaming Gender Equality and Promoting Work-Life Balance and “Domestic and Gender-Based Violence”.

The EEA and Norway Grants have entered into a strategic partnership with the Council of Europe to promote tolerance and fundamental rights. Activities countering hatred are encouraged through the EEA NGO programmes.


Programmes financed from EEA Grants

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) outlines how the EEA Grants funding will be implemented in Estonia in the 2014-2021 funding period. The MoU includes details on the country allocation, which programmes are to be funded, and the management set-up, including information on cooperation with the donor countries. The MoU is in force as of 10 May 2017, and was amended on 5 November 2018 and 21 June 2019.
